My name is Sue formerly a Chadfield, this is my long awaited website of which I have been meaning to produce for many years. I started my family tree originally back in 1996, as I was curious as I never knew much about my ancestry.
I began like most people by asking the eldest members of the family what they could remember of relatives that I never knew and as much information I could find about
them. ie. where they lived, worked and played, to personal things like loves
and hobbies.
I have found that the ‘Chadfield’ name is quite a unique name and therefore it wasn’t long before I was filling in the gaps and grey areas of our family history.
